Excel 2013 Intermediate

Users who are experienced with Excel but want to take advantage of more in-depth functionality (e.g. complex functions, defined names and ranges, charts, data manipulation, advanced formatting) should enroll in the Excel 2013 Intermediate class. (One day, 3-hour class.)

Excel 2013 Intermediate

Objectives
Students will gain experience with nested functions, boolean logic, data organization and manipulation. They will understand the difference between absolute and relative references, the dual worksheet layers (value and formula), and expanded charting operations. Students will also be able to implement object security (workbooks, worksheets, cells, etc.).

Prerequisites
Students should have taken Excel 2013 Basic or its equivalent. Must be able to create, open, save, format, and print worksheets. Should be able to use formulas and basic functions and have the ability to cut, copy, and paste values and formulas. Must be familiar with Windows and possess basic computer skills.
